What has been the decision regarding Kickoff 2022?
Due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic and the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, we made the decision to postpone Kickoff 2022. We have worked with Caesars Palace to find the best possible alternate dates: March 29-31, 2022.
Why was the decision made to postpone the event?
This was a very difficult and complicated decision to come to. We were seeing a large portion of registrants planning to attend virtually only, 1 in 5 franchises who hadn’t registered at all and a steep increase in cancellations within the last two weeks. On December 31, we made the decision to postpone the event. There were many moving pieces and this was the earliest date by which we could come to a decision. Ultimately, we felt that postponing would allow us to still have an in person event and at the same time balance our business continuity and the health and safety of you and your team members.
Why were the dates chosen?
By all accounts, COVID will be at its peak during the winter months. Given this, we looked for the best possible alternate dates. Many events are currently doing the same and the demand for new dates made our options limited. While we recognize this is a busy time of year, we’ve heard from many of you that you’d much prefer to meet in person versus virtually and this will give us the opportunity to do that as safely as possible.
Are the new dates confirmed?
Yes, the new dates are confirmed. If, in the unlikely event that we have another pandemic related delay, we will then switch to a fully virtual event. We will not move the event to other dates this year.
Should I change my flights to align with the new event dates?
We recommend you change your flights and other travel arrangements to align with the new dates now. You should plan to arrive midday on Tuesday, March 29 and depart any time on Friday, April 1.
Will you be reimbursing us for flight change and/or cancellation fees?
This has implications for many of us. However, we are not in a position to reimburse for change fees or cancellations. Most airlines will allow you to change your flights for a fee and we encourage you to talk to your airlines to determine the best course of action. As a condition of registration and attendance at Kickoff, you acknowledged and agreed to the above.
We recommend you change your flights and other travel arrangements to align with the new dates now. You should plan to arrive midday on Tuesday, March 29 and depart any time on Friday, April 1.
Do I need to re-register for the event in March?
No, the events team will update all registrations to reflect the new dates.
Example: If you registered to check in to the hotel on Tuesday, January 25 and check out on Friday, January 28, the events team will update your registration to check in on Tuesday, March 29 and check out on Friday, April 1.
Can I register more people from my franchise to attend?
Yes, you’re welcome to add registrants. Please use the registration form. The new deadline to register is February 16, 2022.
Can I cancel registrations, switch them to different people or to a virtual-only pass?
Yes, to make changes to your registration, please email all of the details (full name of registrant, title, type of registration (single or double occupancy) along with your requested change (cancel or change to a different name) to events@o2ebrands.com. If you have your original confirmation email, please forward this directly with your request to make it as seamless as possible for you and our events team. All in-person Kickoff registrations also include a digital access pass for your franchise.
Changes will be allowed between January 5 and February 16 without penalty. Following this, cancellation fees will be as follows:
Before February 16: No cost; any monies paid will be fully refunded
February 17-March 3: 50% of shared accommodation fee applies ($487.50 USD)
March 4-March 18: 75% of shared accommodation fee applies ($731.25 USD)
After March 19: Full shared accommodation fee applies ($975 USD)
I understand that I am required to attend Kickoff, am I able to switch to only attend virtually?
Yes, the fee for virtual-only access is $975 USD. You can change your registration type by emailing full details (full name of registrant, title, type of registration (single or double occupancy)) and your request to change to a digital access pass only to events@o2ebrands.com. If you have your original confirmation email, please forward this directly with your request to make it as seamless as possible for you and our events team.
What are the Kickoff registration terms and conditions?
Hosting an event during a worldwide pandemic that continues to pose challenges with health regulations and potential travel and accommodation interruptions requires us to have more formal terms and conditions than we usually have in place. Following our registration protocols, we are not in a position to:
Refund flights, expenses and/or any additional nights booked at Caesar’s Palace
Cover costs of COVID-19 tests required to travel
Be held liable should you, your employees or your guest(s) contract COVID-19 in any location during the course of your participation in this event. Please ensure that you have adequate and applicable medical and travel insurance prior to traveling
As a condition of registration and attendance at Kickoff, you acknowledge and agree to the above.
Given the new dates, when will I be billed for Kickoff fees?
We have made the decision to refund all registrations that were originally part of the prepayment plan. The refund will take effect on January 21, 2022.
We will collect full registration fees from all registered attendees on March 25, 2022. If you have any questions about the payment process, please contact events@o2ebrands.com.
When is Kickoff?
Kickoff is a three-day event that will take place from Tuesday, March 29, to Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Where is Kickoff?
All of this year's events and accommodations will be hosted at Caesar’s Palace, 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, United States.

NEW: COVID Protocols at Kickoff - updated March 23, 2022
Due to the changing landscape of COVID-19, our event policies have evolved in line with current US Center for Disease Control recommendations. With the safety of all our Kickoff attendees in mind, you are required to take personal responsibility for your own health when assessing your attendance at the event.
Before traveling to the event, you are required to either:
Complete a COVID-19 test no more than 24 hours in advance (to confirm you do not have COVID-19)
or
Have a letter from a licensed doctor stating you have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 90 days.
You are not required to provide either of these at Kickoff registration; however, when you sign the release of liability and waiver at registration, you will be asked to declare that you have completed one of these two tasks.
DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU…
Feel unwell prior to the event, regardless of what type of illness it may be. Please consider your own personal health AND the health of others.
Test positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the event. Please follow the CDC recommended guidelines for quarantine/isolation.
Are directly exposed to COVID-19 within 10 days of the event (e.g., knowingly spent time with someone who has COVID-19 inside for more than 15 minutes, etc.), regardless of your vaccination status.
Are exhibiting visible symptoms of cold/flu/COVID-19. If any of our staff notice that you are exhibiting visible symptoms of any type of illness, you will be immediately removed from the conference area and will not be able to return, regardless if you can show a negative COVID-19 test.
You will be required to sign a release of liability waiver and declaration of good health when checking in at event registration that confirms you have completed a COVID 19 test or have a letter of recovery. If you do not agree to sign, you will not receive access to the event.
Please note that, as part of your travel and participation in the event and in Las Vegas at large, you will be in locations where physical distancing will not occur, not everyone is vaccinated and, due to food and drink service, masks will not always be worn. Please refer to the question below regarding the recent change to the State of Nevada mask mandate.

What are the current State of Nevada COVID-19 government regulations with regards to events/gatherings?
The State of Nevada has recently lifted the indoor mask mandate. Therefore, masks are no longer required, except at the airport and on charter buses. For the most up-to-date information on health regulations, please visit the Clark County website.
What measures is Caesars Palace taking to minimize the spread of COVID-19?
Caesars Palace follows the state’s government mandated COVID-19 regulations for events and gatherings. In addition to following the government mandated guidelines, Caesar’s Palace has their own health and safety protocols in place.
UPDATED: Canadian Travelers: Effective April 1, 2022, pre-entry tests will no longer be required for fully vaccinated travelers entering Canada by land, air or water. With this new policy in place, we are no longer offering Rapid Antigen testing at the event. However, you will still need to set up an ArriveCAN profile, and be prepared to complete this checklist to enter or return to Canada as a fully vaccinated traveler.
UPDATED: Australian attendees: In order to return home, as per the entry requirements of the Australian government you will need to provide either a negative COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) taken no more than 24 hours prior to your flight, or a negative nucleic acid amplification (NAA) test (ex: PCR test) taken no more than three days before the scheduled departure of your flight.
Travelers are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure they meet the requirements of the airline they are traveling with and any countries they transit through.
What happens if I test positive for COVID during the event?
Should you test positive for COVID-19 during the event, the refund policies outlined below will be applied. Anyone who tests positive while in Las Vegas will not have access to the event and will be immediately removed from the conference area.
UPDATED: If I test positive, where can I quarantine?
We are currently working within the Caesar’s Palace Positive Case Scenario Policy and Procedure. The current policy reads as follows:
“If a guest tests positive for COVID-19 the Caesars Palace Security will offer the guest the ability to relocate to a facility that reserves hotel rooms for people that have tested positive for COVID-19 but who are only experiencing mild symptoms that don’t require hospitalization. Clark County has provided for alternate lodging and basic needs for these visitors to ensure they are well-cared for while visiting our community. As a service to our customer, Caesars Security Guest Services Liaison will call and make the hotel reservation for the guest as well as arrange for non-emergency ground transportation with AMR-T.”
UPDATED: If I test positive, how long do I need to quarantine for?
If you test positive, you will be required to quarantine for five days in the offsite designated quarantine hotel (provided by Caesar's Palace). According to the CDC and cannot travel back into Canada until after 10 days.
O2E Brands Inc. (including its affiliates and together their directors, officers and employees) will not:
Refund flights, expenses and/or any additional nights booked at Caesar’s Palace if a Franchise attendee/guest/sponsor cancels their registration, and/or tests positive at the event/airport
Cover costs of COVID-19 tests required to travel
Be held liable should you, your employees or your guest(s) contract COVID-19 in any location during the course of your participation in this event. Please ensure that you have adequate and applicable medical and travel insurance prior to travelling.
As a condition of registration and attendance at Kickoff, you acknowledge and agree to the above.
CANCELLATIONS (Kickoff Franchise Registration): Requests for registration cancellations must be submitted by email to events@o2ebrands.com, and are subject to the refund policies outlined below:
Before February 16: No cost; any monies paid will be fully refunded
February 17-March 4: 50% of shared accommodation fee applies ($487.50 USD)
March 5-March 18: 75% of shared accommodation fee applies ($731.25 USD)
After March 19: Full shared accommodation fee applies ($975 USD)
In the event of an emergency or illness that impacts your ability to attend, registrations are fully transferable and you can send someone approved by the Franchisor as a substitute in your place; however the cancellation fees as set out above shall still apply in the event of such cancellation and if no substitution occurs.
CANCELLATIONS (Kickoff Franchise Guest): Requests for guest registration cancellations must be submitted by email and are subject to the refund policies above.
When does registration close?
Kickoff 2022 registration closes February 16, 2022.
What are the Kickoff fees (in person event)?
Kickoff 2022 fees are $975 USD for a digital pass or shared room with another registered Franchise attendee and $1,300 USD for a single room.
Can I bring a guest to the event (partner/spouse/friend)? What are the costs associated and what are they invited to attend?
If you would like to bring additional guests to attend the evening events only, you have the opportunity to purchase a guest pass during registration, which allows your guest to attend the three evening social events. The cost of a guest ticket is $400 USD.
If I am bringing a guest (partner/spouse/friend) that is not a Franchise attendee, which Kickoff package do I select?
If you are sharing a room with a guest (partner/spouse/friend) that is not a Franchise attendee, please select the single occupancy package ($1300 USD).
What do Kickoff fees include?
Below is a breakdown of what each Kickoff fee includes.
Are hotel incidentals covered in my Kickoff hotel accommodations package?
No, hotel incidentals are not covered in your Kickoff hotel accommodations package. If you charge anything to your room, you will be responsible to cover the charges when you check out of the hotel.
How do I pay for Kickoff?
The fees for Kickoff will be collected via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Due to the recent date change, we have made the decision to refund all registrations that were originally part of the prepayment plan. The refund will take effect on January 21, 2022.
We will collect full registration fees from all registered attendees on March 25, 2022. If you have any questions about the payment process, please contact events@o2ebrands.com.
How do I book the hotel accommodation nights that are part of the Kickoff Registration in-person package?
Once you have completed your registration, the Kickoff event team will book your hotel accommodation on your behalf as part of a master rooming list. This list is provided to the hotel early March 2022. All requests for hotel changes will need to be emailed to events@o2ebrands.com.
How do I book additional nights outside the provided room nights that come with the Kickoff package?
When you are registering online for Kickoff 2022, you will have the option to request additional nights with your registration. These nights will be booked on your behalf with your entire event registration. Additional hotel nights outside the three provided nights are not included in your Kickoff registration package, and will be the responsibility of the Franchise attendee to pay for all additional nights booked upon check out.
How much do additional nights cost and how do I pay for these nights?
Additional nights at the hotel cost $159 USD per night + a $35 daily resort fee and any applicable fees and hotel taxes and are available on a first come, first served basis. If rooms are no longer available at the above group rate, rooms will cost the prevailing rate and are subject to change daily based on availability.
Additional hotel nights outside of your Kickoff registration package are payable when you check out of the hotel. Please come prepared with a credit card to pay for any additional nights, plus any incidentals you charge to your room.
IMPORTANT: If you add any additional nights to your registration, and you do not check in on the date you specified when completing your registration, you are responsible for the costs of the additional night(s), and you are at risk of having any remaining additional room nights cancelled. It is important to inform the Kickoff events team of any changes to your hotel reservation.
I missed the registration deadline, can I still register?
If you missed the deadline, please email events@o2ebrands.com to inquire about availability to register. After the deadline, we cannot guarantee availability of hotel accommodations at Caesar's Palace.
I missed the registration deadline and need to book additional hotel nights. What should I do?
If you missed the original registration deadline and require to register yourself/someone else, we have extended the deadline to February 16. You can register by following this link.
If you need to make changes to your arrival and/or departure information, additional night(s) requests, and registration transfers, can be made by emailing the events team at events@o2ebrands.com. Please note, that any changes to your registration, including changing your arrival and/or departure information, must be received no later than Monday, February 28. More information on cancellation and fees can be found above under the cancellation policies section.
Can I still share a room if I don't have a roommate picked out?
Yes. If you don't have a roommate to share with, the Kickoff team (Junktion) will assign you a roommate.
NEW: How do I and/or my guest collect my name tag?
You can collect your name tag on Tuesday, March 29 at the registration desk, located in Caesars Palace on the Promenade conference level floor. Registration is open from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
NEW: Is my Kickoff name tag required for all events?
Yes, your name tag is required for access into all events at Kickoff, as our event staff will be checking for name tags at all the event access points. Las Vegas is a very busy place, with lots of individuals walking around the hotel and at our off site locations, so to avoid any party crashers at our exclusive events, we require your name tag to be with you at all times.

When is check-in and check-out at the hotel?
Check in is available from 3:00pm; check out is 11:00am. Should you be arriving or departing outside of these times, you may leave your bags with the concierge.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Self-parking for registered hotel guests in Las Vegas is free at the property of their stay. Self-parking includes in-and-out access at any Caesars Entertainment self-parking facility (subject to availability).
Valet parking fees may be charged to your room bill.
You will use your room key to access all Caesars Entertainment property self-parking facilities.

What is there to do at the hotel during my free time?
There is lots for you to do while you are staying at Caesar’s Palace. For more information about the amenities and entertainment options at Caesar’s Palace, please visit the hotel’s website.
When should I arrive in Las Vegas?
Kickoff starts with an evening reception on Tuesday, March 29, with event registration opening first thing in the morning, and available until 5:00pm. You should schedule your travel arrangements to arrive in Las Vegas no later than 4:00pm.
Are you offering a virtual option for Kickoff 2022?
Yes! Kickoff 2022 will be the first Kickoff event where we will host both an in-person and online (virtual) event.
How will the virtual experience work for 2022?
You can register for a Digital Access Pass or choose to attend the event in-person. Please note, all in-person registrations will include a Digital Access Pass so your franchise team can attend the virtual components of Kickoff.
This Digital Access Pass comes with:
Unlimited franchise participants
Live stream of event keynote speakers
Live stream of front line event (participating brands to be announced)
Live stream of Awards Gala
Do I need to register my franchise for the Kickoff 2022 Digital Access Pass even if someone from my franchise is attending in person?
No, once at least one person from your franchise has registered for in-person attendance, a subsequent registration form will be sent to your franchise at a later date. You’ll be asked to provide information on all individuals from your franchise who will attend online (this is to ensure each person can receive login credentials).
Example: You have two people attending in person.
You would be required to register EACH person individually through our registration form for the in-person event which will also provide your Franchise with the Digital Access Pass. The registration form will clearly outline all the steps required to complete your registration in full. Later on, we will send a subsequent registration to your Franchise, asking you to complete a simple registration table with all the individuals from your franchise who will attend online (this is to ensure each person can receive login credentials).
When does registration open for the virtual event and do I need to register each person from my Franchise to attend?
Kickoff 2022 registration, for both in person and virtual, will open November 3, 2021. You can register for a Digital Access Pass and then you will receive a form to provide the email addresses of each person from your franchise who will attend virtually later in the Fall. This is to ensure they can receive secure login credentials.
What are the Kickoff fees (virtual event)?
Kickoff 2022 fees are $975 USD for unlimited online attendees if you are not sending anyone to attend the event in person. If you have at least one person attending the event in person, then this fee is included with your in-person registration..
